| About | Battle Creek Regional Park is a 1,840-acre natural park situated outside a densely developed metropolitan area. Trails give tourists the opportunities to see many wildlife species like deer, egrets, and hawks and the nature of the natural plant habitats with one large pavilion that can accommodate up to 500 people. Bookings can be made for the pavilion and picnic shelters. It is 3.3 miles of multi-use trails and 3.3 miles of single-track biking use. It has over 750 acres of oak trees, old fields, streams, and second-growth meadows, providing habitat for various wildlife. The dog park has three open and one fenced pond, so be prepared for a wet puppy if they like to swim. |
