| About | Philbrook Museum of Art was opened in 1939. It serves as a world-class art center for the city of Tulsa. Philbrook Museum of Art is 25 acres of gardens and a sprawling Italian Villa. It has various exhibits by European, American, Asian, American, Native American, and African artists and is surrounded by lush gardens. The gardens include Oklahoma native plants, several roads, bridges, a sculpture walk, and a meandering lake. It strives every day through art & greens to create an artistic & linked culture. Museum offers several group visits during the year with docent-guided tours of Philbrook downtown. Philbrook provides a full menu of fun and compelling experiences for all ages, from seeing masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance to running through sprinklers in the garden. Philbrook Museum of Art offers free admission for Members and Youth 17 and under. |
