The Tulsa Zoo is owned by the City of Tulsa and managed by Tulsa Zoo Management, Inc. TZMI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors. It has a population of 1500 animals on 78 acres, containing 436 species. The Zoo attracts more than 550,000 visitors every year, making it the Green Country region's most significant attraction. The Zoo celebrates over 90 years of offering family-friendly entertainment, education in the natural sciences, and nature conservation. You can enjoy eight exhibit galleries showcasing thousands of fish and animals from saltwater and freshwater. It contains outdoor display areas and indoor eco-themed buildings in environments close to their natural homes with animals worldwide. Tulsa Zoo offers free admission for children aged under three. |
