AboutWoodland Park Zoo is an award-winning zoo located in Seattle. It is a 92-acre park dedicated to wildlife conservation. It welcomes more than one million visitors a year to discover the world of nature, encouraging conservation at home and around the plane. The zoo has 1,090 animal specimens, 300 species of animals, 7,000 trees, more than 100 plant species. Woodland Park Zoo is also home to 35 endangered and five threatened species of animals. It is the recipient of over 65 awards across multiple categories and has served approximately 1.4 million domestic and international visitors in 2019. It is the place to discover the natural world, and it hosts more than one million annual visitors, promoting conservation at home and across the globe. It provides a program of summer camps and an extended schedule of the day.
