About | McDonald's is a museum in San Bernardino. It commemorates the nostalgic history of McDonald's memorabilia. Dick and Mac Mcdonald formed McDonald's Barbecue in 1940. They had an employee of 20 carhops and a menu of 25 items, which included barbecue ribs, beef, and pork sandwiches. Soon they became the number one teen gathering spot in San Bernardino. Dick Mcdonald started researching his item sales and found that 80 percent of his sandwiches sold were hamburgers. The museum was founded in 1988. The museum holds the most comprehensive array of pre-Ray Kroc McDonald's memorabilia, such as news stories, photographs, and the mementos such as menus, straws, cups, a concept of ketchup gun distribution. The Original McDonald’s museum continues to grow every year and is free to the public. |
