About | Frick Art & Historical Center is a museum situated in the famous East End of the town on five acres of beautifully landscaped lawns and gardens. This museum began as an eleven-room, Italianate-style house purchased by the Fricks shortly after their marriage. You can appreciate Western artworks of art and increasing exhibits in the art museum and explore the antique cars and carriages collection. It allows you to see beautiful decorative arts from the Renaissance to the present and to know how the Frick family lived at the turn of the 20th century. The museum welcomes over 100,000 visitors a year. It provides a range of adult outreach services through local libraries, senior centers, and community centers. Frick programming gives adults plenty of ways to interact with their collections, exhibits, and each other. Their hands-on learning activities are teacher-friendly for K-12 students, tackle academic expectations, and use crafts. |
