About	Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve is a 629.9 sprawling natural preserve located in Cherry Valley. The preserve has 7.5 miles of easy to moderate hiking trails and a 2.3-mile picturesque, paved recreation walk. The trails here will lead you to an exploration of flower-filled prairies, cool shady woodlands, the glistening Kishwaukee River, and a lovely little bubbling natural spring. It has both paved paths and dirt paths. Blackhawk Springs Forest Preserve also has hiking trails, picnic tables, ball fields, and playground facilities.
