About | Frick Park is Pittsburgh's central urban park and occupies 644 acres. It is one of four major historic parks in Pittsburgh. It has been recorded as having more than 100 bird species. The park covers 151 hectares frick woodland nature reserve of the park. It has 15-20 miles of hiking trails from easy to moderate and has loads of trails, both paved and unpaved and with varying levels of difficulty. The multipurpose trails are well marked, with several access points as entrances. The park also boasts red clay tennis courts, baseball fields, and Pennsylvania's only outdoor lawn bowling green. In the suburbs, there is also a kid play park and clay tennis court. Frick has a range of well-marked trails to explore with your dog. |
