| About | Bird's Fort Trail Park is almost 58 acres of natural beauty. Visitors can hike the mile, picnic in the pavilion, birdwatch, half long trail, and overlook the river. The new Fort Bird's location is on Caloway Lake, a fresh privately owned lake in Arlington. There are three separate parking lots in total, one on the very southern side, one about 4 miles north, and another about 7 miles north under the highway. It has a river/creek, and the trees are unpaved, nature walks. Through this park, the Campión Trail is accessible. The concrete paths provide plenty of views of the water. Bird's Fort Trail Park features a shaded area in the trees and benches for the visitors. The trails are well maintained, and it was an excellent place to get your ride and walk. |
