AboutManoa Falls Trail is a well-known hiking area in Honolulu. The park is popular among hikers and tour groups that have swept through the lush rainforest. From the road, the gravel leads you over the bridge into thick greenery, where dappled light streams through the overhang onto the cooling path, and even on a hot day, the breezes blow through the leaves. The park has a 0.8-mile trail that slowly ascends through a dense rainforest that ends in a viewing area set back from the fall's base. There is a low rock wall and a suspended cable with signs showing the dangers of landslides and instructing them. The park provides a view of Honolulu and Manoa Valley. Aihualama Trail can be a challenge for inexperienced hikers. Many people love to hike the trail to see Manoa Falls, a 150-foot waterfall. Hiking the trail is approximately a one-hour round trip.
