About | Hare Hill is a peaceful and exclusive woodland garden located in Macclesfield, UK. William Hibbert bought an area of land from the Leicester family in the late 18th century and established Hare Hill as his country estate. The hall was constructed for William Hibbert of Birtles Hall in around 1800, and it was enlarged and renovated for the Brocklehurst family in the middle of the 19th century. The garden has more than seventy varieties of species. The garden features over 50 hollies, silver and golden leaved and yellow and orange berried varieties. Hare Hill allows visitors with the dogs. It is the place for reflection, discovery and play. |
