About	Saltram House is a well-known George II era house that was designed by Robert Adam. It is one of Britain's best-preserved examples of an early Georgian house and contains the Parker family's extensive collection of paintings. The house is perfect for visiting with many histories and various art images from local to famous international artists. There is also a display of Arts and Crafts by local artists in the Gallery. The house's rooms are fantastical creations that glow and impart a sense of wonder in adults and kids alike. Surrounding the house is a beautiful 20+ acre garden, which offers an excellent place for walking, jogging, cycling and picnics.
