| About | Amar Mahal Palace Museum in Jammu serves as a landmark amid the city's diverse surroundings. This former palace still exists as a testament to the grandeur of French architecture. The palace has been transformed into a museum. This structure was created for Raja Amar Singh, a Dogra king, in the nineteenth century. This palace served as the Dogra dynasty's official residence and housed a number of historical paintings as well as a collection of antique portraits of the royal family. Dr Karan Singh donated the palace to the Hari-Tara charity foundation to be used as a museum. This structure was designed by a French architect in the style of a French cellar. |
