About	ValluvarKottam is a landmark honouring the ancient Tamil poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar. ValluvarKottam's construction was the best way to pay tribute to this beautiful and renowned personality, as well as to his vast series of magnificent works. The pattern of architecture is a temple chariot inside which there is an enormous stone effigy of Saint Thiruvalluvar.
