About	Arignar Anna Zoological Park is one of the modern and scientifically managing zoos located in Chennai. The zoo is managed by two hundred and fifty-nine staff and some contract workers. Arignar Anna Zoological Park has more than 2300 animals. It covers about 602 hectares, including a rescue and rehabilitation centre. The zoo has achieved excellence as a dynamic conservation centre of nature by encouraging the Western and Eastern Ghats' breeding program.
