| About | BIG Little Science Center was launched by Gordon R. Gore in February 2000. He is a retired science teacher who devoted his life to teaching science in an immersive setting. The science centre encourages the children, their families, and community teachers to learn and explore science in an engaging and stimulating atmosphere. The center currently operates at Happyvale School out of four classrooms and a gym leased from School District 73. The current program model encourages tourists to explore their own at each of the 140 plus hands-on gymnasium stations. Through the Canadian Association of Science Centres (CASC) reciprocal agreement, BLSC Members receive discounted or free entry into member science centres across Canada. |
