| About | Telus World Of Science is a broad science center located in Edmonton. It is a non-profit organization that was developed to inspire lives in Edmonton and Alberta. The center was opened for the first time in 1984 to replace the Queen Elizabeth Planetarium. Space Place presents astronomy and astronautics to travellers with the highlights of real Moon Stone, a long-term loan from NASA. The Science Garage in the Telus is a hands-on display with activities and learning opportunities. The Science Garage is an experience where participants can be more hands-on and experience technology face-to-face, with activities and interactive experiences such as a vertical climbing wall. The Telus World of Science also presents the original IMAX theatre in Western Canada. |
