About | Belfountain Conservation Area is located in Caledon, ON. It has a nature trail that crosses the river gorge and then runs around the Escarpment's steep sides for about 30 minutes to walk. The conservation area itself is well-maintained with boardwalks and wooden bridges over creeks and streams. It features ornamental gardens and walking trails in an area strung out along the West Credit River. There are 3 hiking trails accessible from the suspension bridge. Easiest is the Pond Loop trail, followed by the Gorge Loop Trail. The staffs are always friendly and helpful. |
