About | The Great War Flying Museum is a non-profit charitable member association run by the Ontario Aviation Historical Society. It was approved and allowed to give tax receipts to all donors. The Great War Flying Museum was formed by a group of members of the Brampton Flying Club in 1970. All the founders were mainly private pilots by pilots and few pilots by the airline. It aims to provide the best local presentation of World War I aviation history by purchasing, designing, preserving and flying representations of period aircraft. It also has exhibiting objects for the education, entertainment and profit of the members and the travelling public. The Museum exhibiting replicas of WWI airplanes, aviation-related memorabilia, dioramas, and more. The Great War Flying Museum offers free entry for children(12 and under). |
