Once your story is told, Luella has a unique way of retelling it back to you that is always insightful. Your experience with Luella is like no other counselling experience you had; the office setting is bright and overlooks a garden. You will not find the typical carpeted rooms with two overly stuffed chairs with a box of Kleenex in between; that makes you want to run away. Luella will make you comfortable right from the beginning, and the relationship will be didactic. You will not be pouring out your soul while she has her head down, taking notes incessantly, which is of little value to you. You need to leave the room feeling understood along with suggestions that you can start incorporating as soon as you leave her office.
