About | Seven Oaks House Museum is an established civic museum situated in downtown Winnipeg, Manitoba. The two-story log dwelling is designated a Provincial Heritage Site and a Winnipeg Landmark Heritage Structure. The Museum's nine-room is built in a Vernacular Georgian style for John Inksterm and donated to the City of Winnipeg for use as a park and Museum. The place is one of few surviving log structures that depict people's lifestyles in the Red River Settlement during the 19th Century. The historic house has a lot of antique artifacts and offers several activities for your convenience. |
