About	The Newcastle Museum was initially established in 1988 as a main bicentennial project and housed at the Honeysuckle Railway Workshops since 4 August 2011. The initial concept for a Museum in Newcastle was created by a group of stakeholders, including Engineers and Supernova Inc., who worked extremely hard to push the idea of a Regional Museum in the 1980s. The face wall in the museum is a photographic quilt of their diverse culture over time. Start exploring the museum to discover history. The Supernova and Mininova exhibitions create an interactive scientific and technological learning playground for both children and adults.
