About	Sushi Gen is a popular place to get crazy fresh, high-quality fish at a very reasonable price. It is situated within the Honda Plaza in Little Tokyo, Downtown Los Angeles. Sushi Gen is known for traditional Japanese preparations & lunch deals. The interior decor of this restaurant is so beautiful, and it feels like you are in a restaurant in Japan. They also have bar seating which is nice to watch your sushi be made right in front of you. There is a small parking lot in front of the store. There is always a line here, even during workdays. At lunch and perch yourself at the sushi counter for à la carte options, or queue for a table in the dining room, where the sashimi lunch special ($19.50) is a steal. They also offer an upscale Asian Fusion menu. In addition, they offer vegan and gluten-free menu options. The dinner sets are a great value, with miso soup, seaweed salad, sashimi or tempura, and a generous portion of the entree.
