AboutThe San Franciscan restaurant was opened in 1963 by Salvatore Sam Failla. Sam decided to move west after being hassled for money by the mob at his nightclub in Buffalo, New York. Initially a bar with a single room, the San Franciscan quickly grew into a substantial table-service cuisine. This transition was prompted by Sam's wife, Connie, who started serving huge, delicious dishes of her homemade spaghetti to the bar patrons. They have done what is probably the best Prime Rib in the South Bay for over 45 years. The tasty, home-style, generously portioned food, stiff drinks, and mid-century atmosphere make the San Franciscan a remarkable sight to experience. An old-fashioned classic American dining spot is featuring a prime rib with live music & karaoke cocktails. They have various freshly made soups every day of the week, and their staff also serve juicy steaks, delicious food, and a variety of specialty dishes. Gift Cards are commercially available at their restaurant location.
