About	Freemason Abbey has been a part of Norfolk’s history since the 19th century. The building of Freemason Abbey was built and dedicated initially as a church in 1873 by the congregation of the Second Presbyterian Church. In 1902 the community sold the property to the First Church of Christ Scientist, who owned the building till 1948. From 1948 into 1987, it served as a conference hall for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. In early 1988 the plan of the Freemason Abbey Restaurant & Tavern started. Their delicious menu highlights fresh seafood, steaks, pasta dishes, and their award-winning She Crab Soup. They offer a full bar to complement your meal. They have unique Vegetarian Options on their menu. Their event staff is committed to creating your special event unforgettable.
