| About | Iowa Beef Steak House was founded in 1982 by Henry Schnieder. In early 2015, brothers Joe & Will Kellogg, who grew up in the neighbourhood, bought Iowa Beef Steakhouse from Henry. The brothers made several minor improvements to the menu and introduced a more modern approach to day-to-day operations. Iowa Beef Steak House is known for serving a wide selection of steaks cooked over charcoal, fantastic side dishes. Most of the furnishings and objects on the walls came from a barn in Southern Iowa. They pride themselves on being an authentic Iowa steakhouse, using as many ingredients and items from all over the country.
