About	Snookers was built in 1989 by Stephen & Regina Goulding in the Jewelry District of Providence. Since its humble start, the well-known billiards, sports bar & grill has since relocated to Ashburton Street conveniently placed near Downtown Providence. Snookers changed the game room into "The Green Room." The roomy was a famous Rhode Island hot spot that received many up-and-coming live bands and DJs and well-known acts. Snookers is an excellent spot to meet colleagues, host corporate events, and entertain visitors, or hang out enjoying your favorite sports games, craft brews, great food, and good points. It's a go-to bar for city games for many years, and the first Snooker comprised a pool hall with 20 pool tables, a game room, and a snack bar that served concession-type snacks and soft drinks. Their private places accommodate people of 10 to 275 people, with a party menu to satisfy any need. Their pantry serves a wide assortment of generous portion meals at very reasonable prices.
