About	Echo Tap & Grill is Madison’s community tavern in the Historic Fourth Ward. The Echo Tap has been open for over 70 years, similar to family, beginning with John and Theresa Hausladen, who bought the company in 1941 when it was called Maly’s Tavern. The restaurant is located in midtown Madison at the edge of Bedford and Main Street, just five neighborhoods southwest of the State Capitol and an easy walk from the Kohl Center and the UW Madison school. The sports bar highlights 22 large HD TVs, 16 tunes, so you will see every second of the game you want to see. The Echo Tap has renewed travelers and locals alike with refreshing drinks and great food. Their interior is paneled with more than a mile of boxcar wood, reminding the neighborhood’s ties to the west rail corridor. The bar has one of the biggest selections of tap brews in the city and a full drinks bar to fix your favorite cocktail.
