About	Desert Sands Park is a family-friendly park and one of Palmdale's favorite family picnics. It comprises 20 acres of parkland. The park is an excellent park for a relaxing day trip with the children. The park has two softball fields, a recreation building, two basketball courts, a multi-use game area, and outdoor gym equipment. Desert Sands Park hosts various events and festivals throughout the year. The park has a lot of spaces for people's relaxation and playing areas for kids and a big grass region, a separate playground, water fountains, or around the benches/tables near the playground.
