About	Lakeshore Park is the most utilized public green space in Knoxville. It has over 185 acres of parkland. The park attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year who use its walking trails, playgrounds, athletic fields, event spaces, and open green areas and enjoy spectacular views of the Tennessee River and the Great Smoky Mountains. The park trail system is 4 miles with a riverwalk through woodlands and natural marsh on the banks of the Tennessee River. The park has a two-acre Bermuda grass field that can hold special events of up to 1500 people, with adjacent restrooms and temporary parking spaces. Lakeshore Park has vast recreational opportunities with 6 baseball and softball fields with lights, and three soccer fields.
