About	Grape Day Park is one of the oldest parks in Escondido. It is a registered landmark and home to a turn-of-the-century working barn, blacksmith shop, and other historic buildings, Santa Fe Railroad depot, museums, and monuments. The park has picnic tables, five horseshoe pits, a children's tile art wall, James a. stone municipal swimming pool. The park includes a grapevine climbing structure with hidden puzzles for kids to find, benches in the appearance of large grape leaves, and a slide decorated with giant purple grapes with mosaic features.
