| About | Oceanside Museum of Art's (OMA) mission is to educate and inspire the public through a wide range of engaging exhibits and programs. It is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation and was initially founded by a core group of citizens who seized upon the vision of a museum. The museum links people to regional, national, and global artists and art forms of the 20th and 21st centuries. The museum grew from 5,000 square feet to 22,000 square feet, creating five display galleries, a performance auditorium, and a large museum shop. Oceanside Museum of Art has more than 15 critically acclaimed exhibits of modern and contemporary art each year, and museum programming includes concerts and films. Oceanside Museum of Art offers free admission for members. |
