About | Ruth Paine House Museum is a restored suburban 1960s house and museum where JFK's assassin spent the night before the shooting. It is a time capsule of the older small homes built by the thousands across the nation shortly after WWII. To enhance the visitor's feeling of being in the house in 1963, the actors play the roles of Ruth and Michael Paine, and Marina and Lee Harvey Oswald. Guests at Ruth Paine's home will also learn about her involvement in local civil and social justice movements in the 1960s. The house is perfectly re-created. The curators have preserved people's lives, using holograms to tell their stories in their own words. Ruth Paine House Museum is available to the public from individuals, groups, students to adults and families. |
