About | The Huntsville Museum of Art is a non-profit public corporation founded by the City of Huntsville, AL, and administered by a city-appointed Museum Board. Its mission is to bring people and art together through collecting, preserving, exhibiting & interpreting the highest quality works of art. The museum seeks to foster an understanding of the visual arts and appreciation of artistic achievement. Almost 40,000 pupils visited the museum during a taste for splendor, Russian Imperial, and European Treasures from the Hillwood Museum. In addition to its displays, the museum offers art classes for kids and adults, lectures, special programs, and musical shows that add extra dimensions to the artwork. The Huntsville Museum of Art offers free admission for members and children age six and under. |
