| About | Acacia Demonstration Gardens is 16 acres of garden. It is a joint effort between Henderson, Southern Nevada Conservation District, and several other local organizations. The garden is several examples of landscaping, which is water-efficient for its desert climate. Acacia Demonstration Gardens also holds several seminars each spring and fall, offering visual samples of the landscape possibilities and information about the displayed plants. It contains indigenous plants in the desert, plus a learning center and demonstration areas. There are benches, arches, and plenty of plants and trees to look at. Acacia Demonstration Gardens is an excellent place for children and adults who want to learn about native plants. |
