About | Xeriscape Botanical Garden is four acres of desert-adapted plants designed to educate and inspire. It has roughly 400 plants that are strategically scattered around this green space at Glendale Public Library. This experimental garden includes the Glendale public library and is managed by the department of water resources. Gardening, organic landscaping, and green living workshops are regularly offered here. Visitors can find a significant variety of low-water species, many of which are identified with specific and botanical names. At Xeriscape Botanical Garden, four hundred types of low water use plants are demonstrated. The garden also features rose gardens, hilly terrain, ponds, an old house to visit. You can walk through this garden without any cost. |
