| About | Forestiere Underground Gardens is an extensive network that is over 100 years old. It is a family-owned & operated business for three generations and counting. It has an underground area of 25 feet and extends over 10 acres. Visitors can go on a one-hour guided walking tour through the development of Baldassare Forestiere. You can see the hand-constructed network of underground spaces, courtyards, and corridors reminiscent of the old catacombs. Forestiere Underground Gardens has underground temperature differences between 10 & 30 degrees centigrade. More rare varieties such as table grapes, kumquat, quince and loquat, jujube, carob, wine, and dates were planted at Forestiere. Garden affords free admission for children four and under. |
