AboutThe Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is one of the most visited historic sites in Texas. The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is a museum located on the sixth floor of the Dallas County Administration Building in downtown Dallas. The museum is housed in the former Texas School Book Depository building, where evidence of a sniper was discovered after President Kennedy's assassination on 22 November 1963. The museum has historic films, photographs, artifacts, and interpretive displays and has the life, times, death, and legacy of United States President John F. Kennedy. The museum presents the political and social context of the early 1960s, chronicles President Kennedy's assassination and aftermath, and focuses on his lasting impact on their country & world. Audio guides are available in eight languages, including ASL. Sixth Floor Museum affords free admission for children (0-5).
