About	Tennessee Aquarium has over 10,000 wonderful animals that swim, float, and crawl in natural environments. The Tennessee Aquarium's goal is to connect people with nature and inspire them to make educated decisions about water and wildlife. It celebrates the rich biodiversity of the Southeast through the exhibits and is actively engaged in preserving and restoring that biodiversity through its work in the field. The Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute focused its expertise on restoring freshwater ecosystems and helping people understand the region's need for ecosystem quality. Visitors can also experience a shark and hundreds of free-flying butterflies. Tennessee Aquarium offers free admission for children (age limit under 3).
