About | Buena Vista Museum of Natural History aims to educate, engage, and encourage its community to discover science wonders through educational programs, exhibitions, and special programs. The Zone is a hands-on science exhibit area focused on children. Tourists and community members can explore the geological and biological heritage. BVM has one of the best and most extensive collections of Miocene-era fossils (14-15 million years ago). The exhibits are located on 20,000 square feet, three and a half floors. The museum also has a full working paleo lab, classroom, research library, repository, workshop, and storage area. Members, Children aged two and under, can experience this museum with free admission. |
