About	Dr. Pete Althausen is board certified in orthopedic surgery who earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He finished his orthopedic residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center. Dr. Pete is subspecialty trained in trauma and focuses on both pediatric and adult fracture care. He has special interests in treating pelvis, trauma, acetabular and periarticular fractures, and complex polytraumatic injuries. Dr. Pete presents annually at multiple national meetings and routinely teaches the latest techniques in fracture care. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine where he teaches and mentors both medical and college students.
