About	The Greater Richmond School of Music is a comprehensive music school that offers private and group instruction in many areas of study including voice, woodwinds, strings, brass, (including but not limited to violin and guitar) & percussion (including but not limited to piano and drums). Lessons are scheduled weekly and are given in 30, 45, and 60-minute intervals. GRSM is the ONLY school in Richmond where every teacher has a music degree (it is their first criterion for hiring). You can try their classes in Early Childhood Music, beginning group Piano/Guitar/Ukulele/Strings, and there is a strong Homeschool Music Program as well. Their advanced and intermediate students are encouraged to pursue extra performance opportunities such as chamber music & competitions. Each semester, music recitals are planned for all registered students. They teach in 12 locations across the Greater Richmond Area, including Atlee, Southside, West End and also Hanover, Henrico and Chesterfield.
