About	Salisbury Mansion is the most famous historic house museum in Worcester. The mansion was constructed in 1772 as a combination mansion and store, and it worked as the residence of Stephen Salisbury, the "Gentleman-Merchant."Over the years, the place has undergone numerous changes, from a rooming home to a gentleman's club. The two-story wood-frame building is finished in flashboard wood treated to resemble stone. The site had expanded the living space to include a library, double drawing rooms, and chambers above for family and staff use.
