AboutFort Vancouver National Historic Site is a national historic site in the U.S. The Fort Vancouver unit was designated a National Historic Site in 1961. It is the principal historical archeology and position of the living history of the pacific northwest, and residence of Pearson air museum story as an economic and cultural center, through engaging shows and a world-class archaeology collection. The visitor center at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site is a part of the National Park Service's Mission. Today, the visitor center is co-operated by both the United States Forest Service and the National Park Service. The historic area consists of two units and separately given the well-known national designation in the 1940s. Fort Vancouver National Historic Site offers free admission and ample parking.
