AboutFlorida State Capitol is a building of historical importance and architecturally placed on the National Register of Historic Places. The architects who build the New Capitol were given the starting assumption the Old Capitol, which had to remain in use until the New Capitol was completed, would be removed. The museum offers a trip through the colourful history of representative government in Florida. It stands as an icon in the heart of Florida's Capitol complex, as well as the modern-day nerve centre of political history, the stained-glass dome governed by the Sunshine State and tradition, come alive. Florida State Capitol is an excellent place for photographs, audiovisual displays, and recordings.
