| About | Great Explorations Children's Museum is a 24,000 square-foot museum filled with presentations and activities to energize learning through creativity, play, and exploration. The museum is specially designed for children ten and under. The museum stimulates learning through play, creativity, and exploration. The museum was formerly housed in a warehouse-type location in Downtown St. Petersburg with similar building architecture to the P. Buckley Moss Museum and Salvador Dalí Museum. They feature interactive exhibits and educational programming in a hands-on learning environment. This place also offers an award-winning national preschool, camps, field trips, and community outreach programs.
