About | Shreveport Municipal Auditorium is one of the most treasured constructions in Shreveport. The building was designed by Seymour Van Os and Samuel G. Wiener Sr., both of Jones, Olschner, Roessle & Wiener of Shreveport. The building was dedicated to the Warriors of the Great War on Veterans’ Day, then acknowledged as Armistice Day. The auditorium hosted the army by serving as a housing barracks and an early warning method for aircraft troops, commonly known as Radar. The place has various events like sporting events, live local concerts, touring acts, and family shows. |
