About	Santa Clarita Valley Historical Society is a nonprofit volunteer organization committed to preserving the heritage of the Santa Clarita Valley and 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles. The Historical Society was formed to stimulate public interest in the Santa Clarita Valley and area history, collect and preserve facts and artifacts pertinent to the site, and inform the public. It has over 15,000 historical artifacts, including photos, antiquities, books, from their rich history in the SCV.
