About	North Carolina State Capitol is the former seat of the U.S. state of North Carolina legislature, which housed all of the state's government until 1888. A group of forward-thinking citizens created the state Capitol. The state capitol organization restored the building's old furniture, including all the original tables and dais. It is one of the greatest-preserved examples of Greek Revival-style architecture in a civic building. It has over 100,000 visitors participating in activities such as tours, holiday celebrations, special ceremonies, and educational programs in North Carolina State Capitol.
