About	Tennessee State Capitol is one of the country's oldest operating capitols and known for its groundbreaking architecture as a benchmark for civil engineering. The walls outside and inside are large blocks of limestone. It provides a new guided tour of the historic Tennessee State Capitol on the issue of Women's Suffrage. Designed with limestone from Tennessee, the structure employs the Ionic and Corinthian orders, the two most highly regarded in Greek architecture. Tourists can view the senate from their galleries and the house of representatives.
